terroir f Markt Einersheim

Imperial promotion for Franconian wine

terroir f (Markt Einersheim, Fränkisches Weinland)

The wine that thrives on the gypsum keuper around Markt Einersheim makes connoisseurs sing its praises - appropriately enough, the site from which the wines originate is called "Markt Einersheimer Vogelsang". This is exactly where terroir f with the Vogelsang balcony is located: A visit to this viewing platform is crowned by a wonderful view over Markt Einersheim, Hellmitzheim Bay and the vineyards with their old gypsum keuper walls.

Crowned is also the keyword for the theme of this magical place, because the terroir f heralds the importance of the nobility for the development of Franconian viticulture. Emperor Charlemagne, for example, not only issued the first rules for the cultivation and development of European viticulture, but was also a great promoter of Franconian wine. In his tradition many other emperors, kings and princes, of whom terroir f tells, followed.
