Schloss Steinburg

Schloss Steinburg (Würzburg, Fränkisches Weinland)

Steinburg Castle is located above the beautiful baroque city of Würzburg in the middle of the famous Würzburger Stein vineyard. The historic building from the 19th century now houses a 4-star hotel. Steinburg Castle is a protected architectural monument. The conglomerate building has three storeys. In addition to the old building, there is a modern extension built in 2012 to the east, known as the "Refugium". It houses the event and conference center and is considered a top-class retreat for individualists and seminarists, for connoisseurs and those who are after panoramic views. The highlights: 23 new rooms - including two spacious junior suites - and six new conference and event rooms, including the 196 m² / 2110 square foot plenum. In addition to the "Steinburgs" restaurant, the newly extended "SteinReich" invites guests to enjoy fine Franconian wines, relax in the castle bar or celebrate in a rustic atmosphere surrounded by the impressive castle vaults.
