The Wine Estate Baldauf is located in the Ramsthal, which is geographically at the Northern tip of Franconia, The area is one of the oldest wine growing areas in Franconia, right along the Saale River.
Three years ago, the brothers Gerald and Ralf Baldauf added a first-rate vinotheque to the estate. The estate is known for its excellent variety of wines. In the past ten years, their wines have garnered rewards on the regional, national, and international level.
Their greatest accomplishment came in 2011 when one of their whites beat out more than 9500 wines from all over the world, winning first prize at the AWC in Vienna.
