Wine & architecture

Wine and architecture have been intimately connected in Franconia for centuries. Medieval monasteries, such as the Erbach Monastery, are proof of that, as are the magnificent, baroque-era buildings in Würzburg. So how about today? Today, quality wine architecture is a symbol of the quality of the Franconian wines more than ever. Quality grapes are transformed into quality wines. That quality extends to the design and décor of the public areas such as the tasting rooms, display and sales areas, exhibits, “treasure vaults,” and inns and taverns.
